Integrity Monitoring of mPEG-PLGA Nanopartricles in MDCK Cells and Larval Zebrafish Revealed by Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer
Polymeric nanoparticles have been extensively for oral drug delivery. However, translation of polymeric nanoparticles from the laboratory to the clinic is limited by a poor understanding of their in vitro and in vivo fate following administration. In particular, the intracellular integrity and in vivo stability are still uncertain. The purpose of this work was to monitor the integrity of mPEG-PLGA nanoparticles in MDCK cells and larval zebrafish models by using fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET).
