Tacrolimus Extended Release Tablets Composed of HPMC/Lipid Blend Matrix

　　Two different methods, ie.powder-blending process and molten-blending process, were used to fabricate tacrolimus extended release tablets composed of HPMC/lipid blend matrix.The in vitro drug release of the prepared tablets were tested and compared.The present results showed that the tablet prepared by molten-blending process (blending HPMC into the drug-lipid solid dispersion molten) released the contained drug more completely at 24 h, and this preparation process was simpler and less drug losses than the powder-blending process.
