Pt-Polymer Complex for Injection Prepared by Spray-drying

　　The complex nanoparticle solution of cisplatin (CDDP) and biodegradable poly(L-glutamic acid)-g-methoxy poly(ethylene glycol) (PLG-g-PEG) was spray-dried with mannitol (Man), trehalose (Tre), or hydroxylpropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HPCD) as the protectants, to obtain novel stable parental preparation of CDDP-polymer complex nanoparticles (CDDP-NPs).The spray-dried products were evaluated by the yield, particle size,and morphology.The results indicated that combined protectants of Tre/HPCD (4%/1%)yielded the optimum spray-dried preparation readily to be reconstituted.
