Optimization on the preparation of Anethol Trithione ophthalmic nanoemulsion coated with chitosan using central composite design-response surface methodology
The Anethol Trithione ophthalmic nanoemulsion was prepared by ultrasonic cell grinder.To optimize the preparation of Anethol Trithione ophthalmic nanoemulsion coated with chitosan, we used the central composite design response surface methodolody (RSM-CDD).In the RSM-CCD, mean diameter and Zeta potential were selected as response variables, however, RH40, EPC and chitosan were employed as independent variables.The mean diameter and Zeta potential of the optimal preparation were (201.1 ± 0.9) nm and (21.22 ± 0.86) mV.The deviations between measured values and predicted values were not considerable.The model established by the RSM-CCD method can be rational for optimization of the preparation of Anethol Trithione ophthalmic nanoemulsion.
