Dual imaging-guided photothermal/chemotherapeutic therapy using liposomes
In this work, We synthesized a novel multifunctional nano liposome drug delivery system, the photothermal sensitive liposomes (PTSL), with doxorubicin (DOX) wrapped in the hydropholic layer and cypate dopped in the hydrophobic layer as the theranostic agents.A series of in vivo and in vitro characterization studies showed that the synthesized PTSL is stable, with DL % of 9± 1.5 and EE % of 82.7 ±2.1.And the in vivo and in vitro studies further showed that the liposomes we synthesized above can achieved the functions of target-delivery, enhanced photochemical internalized release, chemotherapy and thremal therapy, indicating that the PTSL is a kind of promising drug delivery system for tumor diagnosis and targeting therapy.
