Study on anti-tumor effect of liposomes loaded with Gemcitabine derivative
As an anti-tumor drug, Gemcitabine shows lots of side effects in clinical application.In this study, we synthesized the derivative of Gem with cholesterol, and prepared liposomes entrapped the derivative in order to overcome these disadvantages.The IR and 1H-NMR certified what we synthesized is target product.The average entrapment efficiency of liposomal preparation was 99.33%, and showed no change at 4℃ in two months.There was about 33% Gem escaped from liposomes in 24 h in vitro.Pharmacodynamics study in H22 and S 180 mouse tumor model demonstrated that the liposomal preparation improved the antineoplastic effect of Gem, and decreased its adverse action.
