In Vitro Reversal Mutidrug Resistance Effect Of Docetaxel-loaded Cholesterol-Coupled TPGS Micelles
TPGS(D-α-Tocopheryl polyethylene glycol succinate) has an extremely prominent effect on reversing multidrug resistance (MDR) of tumor. However, its high CMC value leads to poor dilution stability.Given this shortcoming, CHM (cholesterol chloroformate) was grafted on TPGS,named as TPGS-CHMC.The derivatives were used to prepare micelles. We chose Docetaxel (DTX) as the model drug and human ovarian cancer A2780/T cells as the model cells to investigate the antitumor efficacy, reversal MDR effect as well as advantages of TPGS-CHMC/DTX micelles by MTT assay, apoptosis assay and cell cycle assay.
