Comparative PK study of free anthraquinones after oral administration of RTFA-OCDD-GN and rhubarb

　　In the study, we evaluated the comparative pharmacokinetics of free AQs components after oral administration of RTFA-OCDD-GN and rhubarb in rats when producing corresponding purgative effect by a validated UPLC-MS/MS method.The results proved that pharmacokinetics of free AQs in rats after intragastic administrated RTFA-OCDD-GN exhibited significant difference in comparison with rhubarb.This study further explained why the RTFA-OCDD-GN reduced the nephrotoxicity of rhubarb when producing purgative efficacy.
