Clarification of the Problems that International Students in Japan Suffer
Recently,many foreigners,including international students,have come to Japan for some purpose such as working as an employee,studying Japanese,and so on.However,with an increase of foreigners,current problems among them are expected to occur more and more.This time my research focuses on international students because I have some friends who study Japanese as international students.Through conversations with them,I have also realized that problems which they have are not only related to their command of Japanese but also related to other reasons.Considering the situation and what I have realized,the purpose of this study is to clarify what kind of problem makes them struggle with living their life in Japan.To get some data,I interviewed international students studying at Nihon Fukushi University(NFU)to know what they think about their life and I did the same thing to international ones at other university to know the difference of support for them.I also used the governmental data to know the number of international students.As a result,most of foreign students think that Japanese classes they have taken are not practical enough to use in a daily life.Also support for them from school is not enough.Moreover,I found that they do not have somebody to talk with about their problems.Contemplating these results,I would like to correspond a cause for each problem that worsens their situation,and I will pursue what can improve those difficulties,observing the process.
