Proposal of effective questions in high school math class - Through an experience of practice teaching -

  According to the Ministry of Education(2015),introducing a learning method called active learning into classes is important.In addition,Programme for International Student Assessment(PISA)research(2012)discovered that the percentage of students who enjoy math is low and many students feel uneasy about math.The purpose of this study is to identify the effective questions asked by teachers in high school math classes to increase student motivation to learn math.However,there is little research on these questions.Therefore,this study will find effective questions asked by teachers in math class to solve those problems.The classes studied in this research looked at the question of a teacher in two math classes(4 hours total)in the second year of high school.The research method used questionnaire,survey and observations.As a result of the research,the following questions were found to be important: Asking questions that students can answer with confidence Asking questions that remain in the students' memory ,and Consolidating contents on a blackboard .These three points were discovered to improve student motivation.
