Research Trends on Cognitive Load Theory in Korea
(0) The purpose of this study was to investigate research trends on cognitive load theory in Korea.To achieve the purpose,following research questions have been established.First,what is the subject of researches related to cognitive load theory in Korea? Second,what is the trend on keywords in researches related to cognitive load theory in Korea? Third,what is the topic of researches related to cognitive load theory in Korea? For this study,97 papers that listed in Korea Citation Index from 1991 to 2018 were analyzed.The papers were selected by the keywords 'cognitive load in education' and 'instructional presentation strategy' and so on through 'RISS','KISS' and 'Google Scholar'.The results of this study were as follows.First,the subjects of research were mostly undergraduate students and elementary school students.Second,cognitive load,working memory,cognitive load theory and e-book were addressed as the main keywords of cognitive load theory.Third,the topics of research were mostly about cognitive load theory,learning data presentation method and working memory.The result of this study provides basic data for eliciting a future research topic.
