Current Status and Prospects of Online Education for elementary and middle school provided by Korean government
Recently,the establishment of an artificial intelligence-based learning environment is making it possible to analyze the learners learning and provide learner-centered teaching materials.As a result,there is a growing interest in providing learner-oriented learning services.It has become necessary to establish an educational system and environment to foster future talent that can actively cope with this rapidly changing social environment.Korea offers online learning services to help students in public education environments with self-directed learning and better classroom lessons for teachers.The purpose of this plan is to internalize public education and to reduce the educational gap between the local and provincial classes.In addition,policies are being pursued to build a learning environment tailored to students interests,individual achievement based on differences in learning conditions,and so on.The purpose of this study is to examine the present status and future direction of the public education online service provided in Korea and discuss implications for the direction of education change.
