An Investigation of Factors Related to Techno-stress Perceived by Elementary school Teachers
The purpose of this study was to explore factors that affect the technostress of elementary school teachers.To achieve the purpose,the following research questions have been established: First,what are the factors related to technostress perceived by elementary school teachers? Second,how do the factors affect the perceived technostress of elementary school teachers? The participants were 207 elementary school teachers,and they responded to a set of questionnaires to measure their perceived attitude of technology,teacher efficacy,schools support,and technostress.Data were analyzed using an independent twosample t-test,one-way ANOVA,and multiple regression analysis.The result of this study was significant in that the technostress-related factors perceived by teachers were investigated.In addition,it will provide practical methods for reducing the technostress perceived by teachers and for operating technology-based classes effectively.This study has an implication for planning and operating teacher training programs to develop teachers capability to select and to use technology in their instruction.
