1.Introduction The Australian National University and Questacon have an over 30 year history connecting Australians from all walks of life-and many others around the globe-with science.Famed for their shared outreach program the Master of Science Communication Outreach/Shell Questacon Science Circus, both have a wealth of experience connecting people with science and using sdence outreach to build a better world.Delivering hands-on science experiences across regional and remote Australia for over 30 years has led to the development of tried and trusted methods-using easily portable pop-up science exhibitions and simple and easily available materials-to deliver science shows and experiences suitable for many different venues and audiences.The experience of delivering the Science Circus in Australia is relevant to many countries and has led to its use in Science Circus diplomacy.
