The Sergei Korolev Space Museum:Promoting Science Education in the Context of International Cooperation
According to the Ukrainian Information Agency, UNIAN Ukraine can boast to have about 5,000 museums, which is an inspiring figure for the country.One can really have an impression that there is a museum renaissance in Ukraine.But in fact, there exists a problem of making the museums attractive to the general public.This becomes a demand in the context of modern social development.The S.Korolev Space museum being the leading space museum in Ukraine, education and cultural center elaborate its development strategy to meet this demand.In this context, science education seems to be a convenient method for bringing the museums, especially technical ones,closer to the general public providing the positive impact.Development of international cooperation will help to adopt best world practices and contribute to the development of the museum as a science promotion center.
