Xinjiang-Pakistan Cooperation within CPEC Framework

CPEC was proposed on May 23rd, 2013.The first stop of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang was India on May 22nd, 2013, followed by Pakistan.When Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Pakistan in April 2015, the two countries decided the 1+4 cooperation mode mainly involving Gwadar Port, industrial parks, energy and transportation infrastructure, the project fund was planned to be USD 46 million, and additional USD 8 billion was added, i.e.USD 54 billion in total.
