Introduction Nowadays wetlands are protected in many countries.Wetland protection policies are conducted, programs are signed, reserves are established, because wetlands contain a disproportionately high number of plant and animal species compared to other land forms, provide fish and wildlife habitats, protect and improve water quality, store floodwaters and maintain surface water flow during dry periods.
