Characteristics of Wood-pellet Co-firing in a 550MWe Samcheok CFB Boiler

　　In this study, combustion and emission characteristics of wood pellet co-firing in 550MW CFB boiler were analyzed.As the blending ratio increased, there was no significant effect on the gas temperature and the combustibility.NOx and Dust increased with increasing the wood pellet blending ratio, and SOx emissions were not affected.The calculation of heat absorption rate of FSH, FRH steam and the result of on-site inspection showed there is no deposit effect up to 5% of wood pellet belnding ratio.t.
