Rotary Drum Ash Coolers for Bottom Ash Cooling in Overseas Project

　　In China, almost 95% of CFB boilers are equipped with Rotary Drum Ash Coolers for cooling the bottom ash.The cooling performance and reliability of Rotary Drum Ash Cooler is widely and well recognized by the customers.Rotary Drum Ash Cooler becomes the standard design of CFB boiler in China.Rotary Drum Ash Cooler has been gradually and successfully prompted and applied in the new or retrofit CFB project overseas SONGLING is the market leader for Rotary Drum Ash Coolers in overseas market.150 units have been installed in over 60 CFB power plants.They have demonstrated high reliability, low maintenance and large cooling capacity.In this paper, the ash cooler design, retrofit and new boiler case studies, and operating experience will be presented and discussed.
