PRELIMINARY STUDY ON PIEZOELECTRIC COMPOSITE TRANSDUCER FOR ULTRASONIC LOGGING
Borehole ultrasonic imaging logging is the key technology for unconventional oil and gas reservoir detection and wellbore fraction identification.Its core component is ultrasonic imaging transducer, which is usually made of 1-3 piezoelectric composite.There are practical bottleneck problems, such as the width of the echo band, the performances of high temperature and high pressure.In this paper, a physical model of 3-1 piezoelectric composite ultrasonic logging transducer is proposed to solve the problem of transducer failure due to electrode debonding caused by polymer phase expansion in high temperature.
