SURFACE MOTION OF INHOMOGENEOUS HALF SPACE WITH A SEMI-CYLINDRICAL CANYON UNDER SH WAVE
In this paper, complex function method and conformal mapping technique are used to present the closed-form solution for scattering of SH waves induced by a semi-cylindrical canyon in a density of radial inhomogeneous half space.By normalizing the Helmholtz equation, the expressions of wave fields and corresponding stresses are deduced.Applying the boundary condition at the canyon, the undetermined coefficients in scattering waves are solved, the entire displacement in the half space is obtained subsequently.
