Research on the Calculation Method of skeleton curve of Variable Cross Sectional Concrete Filled Steel Tubular Laced Columns with Inclined Lacing Tube
The finite element analysis method aim to study seismic performance of variable cross-sectional Concrete-Filled Steel Tubular (CFST) laced columns is put forward, and calculating results of specimens obtained by universal program of OpenSEES agree well with the pseudo-static test results.Then the influence of longitudinal slope, axial compression ratio, slenderness ratio, area ratio of lacing tubes and longitudinal tubes, yield strength of steel and other parameters on seismic performance of variable cross-sectional CFST laced columns with inclined lacing tube are investigated.On the base of these numerical results from FEM analysis, the calculation formula of skeleton curves characteristic value (include elastic stiffness, Horizontal peak load and its displacement, fall-period stiffness) of four-element variable cross-sectional CFST laced columns was obtained referring to the calculation frame of equal sectional concrete filled steel tubular columns and equivalent length method, then these calculation formula.Finally the practical method to calculate the skeleton curve of variable cross-sectional CFST laced columns with incline lacing tube is provided on the basis of the analytical results.
