Integrated parameters detection system for electrothermal chemical gun

  The real time detection of parameters and characteristics of an electrothermal chemical gun (ETCG) can not only observe the whole working state of each component, but also find hidden dangers in time and reduce failures.Hence, an integrated parameter detection system (IPDS) for an ETCG was designed and set up to measure the charging voltage and pulsed current of a PPS (pulse power system), discharging voltage of plasma generator, chamber pressure and projectile muzzle velocity.The experimental data are provided for the study of the emission mechanism of an ETCG and the detection of the performance of the launching device.The optical fiber isolators are employed to isolate the electrical connection between the ETCG and IPDS, which can effectively solve the influence of the pulsed voltage to the test instruments.The IPDS can provide detailed and reliable experimental data for the study of the ETCG emission mechanism and the detection of its emission performance.
