Analysis of the influence of trunnion-bearing clearance on the muzzle dynamic response of the overhead weapon station
In order that the influence of trunnion-bearing contact, collision and clearance size on the dynamic characteristics of the muzzle at the overhead weapon station can be studied, the constraint relationship at the clearance between the trunnion and the bearing is established, which is based on the improved Flores normal continuous force model and Coulumb friction model, respectively, and then a virtual prototype of an overhead weapon station considering the trunnion-bearing clearance is established.Numerical analysis is used to investigate the influence of trunnion-bearing contact and collision, and the influence of different trunnion-bearing clearance size on the muzzle dynamic characteristics of the overhead weapon station.
