Molecular dynamics simulation and experimental study on the plasticizing properties of TMETN/NG CMDB propellants
According to the bad plastication of TMETN on NC, the plastication of TMETN/NG with different proportions on NC was studied by molecular dynamics simulation.It was found that if the plastication of TMETN/NG system was willing to be improved, more than 40 wt % of TMETN need to be replaced.Then, the results of curing experiment show that the CMDB propellants could cure only if the mass ratio of TMETN and NG was greater than 2 ∶ 3, and the propellants could cure uniformly if the mass ratio of TMETN and NG was greater than 3 ∶ 2, which was consistent with the conclusion deduced from simulations.
