Research on complex stress loading experiment technology of PBX explosive
In order to research on complex stress loading experiment technology of PBX explosive, Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB) and shear equipment has been used, the shear stress curve versus time has been obtained.At the same time, a sandwich structure bullet was used to achieve double-pulse loading, as the result show that there are two stages in the shearing situation, at the first stage,the stress increases rapidly than the second stage, then the maximum stress is 50~60 MPa.After the first stage, the stress increase slow with the changes ofstrain, and not unloaded until the maximum stress.There are two loading peaks instress-strain curves of thedouble-pulse loading, the strain rate of the second load is lower than the first load, but the stress peak higher, moreover, two stress peaks become higher along with the strain rate.
