Study on the mechanism of spallation in an Al-Li alloy
In order to study the spalling phenomenon of Al-Li alloys, a modified Johnson-Cook constitutive model was first presented based on experimental data.Then, a damage evolution equation based on the concept of damage evolution is proposed and applied as thespallation criterion for Al-Li alloy material.The relative parameters of the spallation criterion were obtained by comparing the results of numerical simulation with flyer-plate-impact experiments.The consistency between the numerical simulation results and the experimental results verifies the correctness of the constitutive model and the spallation criterion proposed in this paper.The results can provide a theoretical basis for the study of the mechanism of spallation in an Al-Li alloy.
