Structural integrity analysis of the solid rocket motor grain for the internal pressure

  Nonlinear viscoelastic constitutive model employed with damage was used to analyze the structural integrity of a free loading grain, the stress-strain and the damage properties were acquired.On this basis, the influence law of grain geometric parameters (star tip radius r, thickness e, angle fraction ε) on grains structural integrity were further analyzed.And the results show that: the maximum Mises equivalent stress of the grain is approximately linear increase with the decrease of the star tip radius;the maximum Mises equivalent stress of the grain is approximately linear increase with the increase of the angle fraction;the equivalent Mises stress decreases with the increase of the thickness coefficient, and the rate of reduction is gradually increased, the effect of thickness on the Mises equivalent stress is smaller.
