Research on detonation driving performance of coaxial dual charge with metal interlayer
The charge samples with same composite and shape with and without the aluminum interlayer were prepared according to the designated inner/outer composite charge.The expansion process of aluminum interlayer was determined by X-ray technology;the high speed scanning method and cylinder test were used to compare the difference of the driving ability between the two charges.The results show that the detonation wave does not change obviously because of the similar impedance.The detonation products of inner and outer charges can be divided by the interlayer when the relative specific volume is below 3.0.However, the driving ability is not affected and the ratio of the specific kinetic energy of the two charges is gradually close to the ratio of the two effective charging mass.
