Experimental study on the effect of bolt length and plate type on the anti-explosion impact performance of rock bolts
The stress characteristics of rock bolts under explosion load are obviously different from those under static load, so the key to the design of anti-explosion reinforcement of underground cavern is to determine the reasonable bolt parameters. At present, there are few researches on how the bolt parameters affect the anti-explosion impact performance of bolts, which needs to be further studied. In this paper, through field explosion test, the anti-explosion performance of anchorage caverns with two kinds of bolt length and two types of bolt plates (that is, flat plate and bowl plate) was studied;the failure patterns of caverns, the displacement of vaults and the stress characteristics of bolts were compared;and the effects of bolt length and plate type on explosion impact resistance of bolts were obtained. The results show that the short bolts with bowl plates, due to the advantages of withstanding smaller explosion impact pressure, larger rigidity of plates and stronger constraint on the wall, have better anti-explosion impact performance, which can obviously reduce the displacement of the vault of the anti-explosion cavern, improve the stress state of the surrounding rock, and greatly increase the ultimate resistance of the cavern. This study provides an important basis for reasonably determining the structure type of the bolt and scientifically designing the anti-explosion reinforcement scheme of the cavern, and has good application value.
