Numerical simulation of high-speed projectile water entry
In order to study the process of water entry of high speed projectile and the law of development of vacuoles, a new type of projectile was designed.And the vertical water entry of the projectile with nine different nose sizes are numerically simulated using AUTODYN.Then the study of different head size high speed water into the process of cavitation law, speed attenuation, deceleration changes and head shape drag coefficient changes over time.The research shows that the design of head stepped cavitation can significantly reduce the water entry resistance.
