Characteristic of bubble impulse for underwater explosion of aluminized CL-20 explosives
The effects of bubble pulse loading as well as shock wave loading should be considered to study the response of the underwater structure against underwater explosion of explosives. To study underwater explosion phenomena, the parameters of shock wave and secondary pressure wave of different aluminum powder content of CL-20 based aluminized explosives was measured by underwater explosion test. The research results show that the peak pressure of bubble pulse decreases with the increase of Al contents in explosives, impulse of bubble pulse increases with the increase of Al contents in explosives. The relations between peak pressure of bubble pulse, bubble pulse impulse and the inverse of scaled distance are formulated in similitude equations.
