Research on aftereffect killing of penetrating glass bullet
In order to study the influence on the killing effect of bullet penetration deformation to glass,numerical model were carried out to simulate the penetrating process of gelatin, compared with experimental results, the numerical method can reproduce the bullet resistance in gelatin and gelatin behavior rule, rolling response etc.Results shows that the initial angle of attack of 15°, 20°, 25°bullets in gelatin with the same basically trend of resistance and speed.The change in resistance value first increased and then decreased as the resistance changed little, then the resistance value decreases continuously, the amplitude is large, finally resistance change sharp shock, penetration gelatin rolling angular velocity from big to small is 25°, 20°, 15°, the minimum of roll angle variation penetration gelatin is 25°, rolling angular velocity changes of 15°and 20°penetration depth range of 0-25cm are basically the same, the transient cavity phenomenon of three bullets are basically same.
