Mechanism analysis on guide rails slope angle parameterization and optimization for fixed cylinder cam

The fixed cylinder cam mechanisms are fixed in the Gatling gun systems.In order to keep the working parts carrier motion more expediently and improve the drive condition, the main roller dynamics were calculated using Newtons Second Law;this gives main rollers inertia force and the inertia couple moment.Also the working part guide rails slope angle is determined and the a is with the scope of 0° to 30°.The main roller peak value force increases monotone and this has the linear relationship approximately.It can be seen that the horizon guide rail has priority.But it can not say that the guide rail slope angle has not merit at all, the slope angle is like the triangle guide rail or dovetail groove of machine tool, it has the self-aligning effect especially in the wear condition.And when the revolving body has a higher rotary velocity, the peak value increases fast when the guide rail slope angle rises.
