Maintenance policies with phased mission time intervals
This paper compares several phased maintenance models with finite mission time intervals.Block replacement and minimal repair, block replacement and no maintenance, minimal repair and no maintenance are used for two phased maintenance policies.The block replacement, minimal repair and no maintenance are used for three phased maintenance policies.We give approximations of the above models and the modified models when the mission time interval is a random variable.With the time being divided into some phases, our purpose is to minimize the expected maintenance costs for the total mission times.All of the discussions are made analytically and their numerical examples are given.
