Decoupling controller design for spinning missile using off-line predictive control
For spinning missiles, the closed-loop system may be dynamically unstable in the form of a divergent coning motion caused by cross-coupling effects. To realize stable flight, an off-line model predictive control method with the command filter is used to design the decoupling controller, which doesnt need the precise model. To meet real-time control requirements, a large amount of computation is completed off-line.The state of the command filter and the integral of the tracking error are added into the augmented model, the dynamic characteristics of the spinning missile and the command filter are fully utilized so that the control parameter matrix can be guaranteed to cope with the changes of the reference signals.Through the simulation, it can be seen that the designed control system is basically not affected by the spinning rate, the modeling errors and the external disturbances, which has the good decoupling control effect.
