Nano Flame Retardant: Where We Are and Where We Go

  Based upon the molecular design and functionalization, series of novel functional nanomaterials, such as layered double hydroxide (LDH), graphene oxide (GO), mesoporous Al(OH)3 and Co(OH)2 nanosheets, etc., would be discussed to be as flame retardant to polymers.Some important properties of these polymer systems, such as fire behaviours, mechanical properties, etc., would be discussed.
