Bridged-Cyclotriphosphazenes and Their Applications on Epoxy Resins: Flame Retardation and Thermal Properties
Two novel bridged-cyclotriphosphazenes based on bisphenol A and bisphenol S were synthesized successfully and used to flame retardant diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A (DGEBA) type of epoxy resins (EPs).The flame reardancy and thermal properties of EPs were investigated systematically.The flame retardant effects and fire behaviours of EPs were enhanced with different levels according to the different bridged groups of cyclotriphosphazenes.
