Synthesis of Polyphosphazene/Triazine Bi-Group Flame Retardant Cotaining Nano Zinc Oxide and Its Application in Polylactic Acid
A novel polyphosphazene/triazine bi-group containing nano-ZnO flame retardant (HTTA/nano-ZnO) was synthesized and applicated in poly (lactic acid) (PLA).Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), elemental analysis (XPS) were used to confirm the chemical structure of HTTA/nano-ZnO.The thermal stability and the flame retardant property of the PLA composites were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and limiting oxygen index (LOI).The results of FTIR and XPS showed that HTTA/nano-ZnO has been synthesized, and the doping ratio of ZnO is 8%.TGA results revealed that HTTA/nano-ZnO has good char forming ability (38.7% at 800℃).The LOI value of PLA-10% HTTA/nano-ZnO composites is 26.5, which increased by 31.2% compared to pure PLA.
