Epoxy Resin Composites Based on 2, 6, 14-Triaminotriptycene@Phytic Acid@Metal Organic Rigid Compound with Low Flammability and High Mechanical Property
In an effort to develop an organic rigid flame retardant for epoxy resin (EP) to improve its flame retardancy and mechanical properties, a supramolecular aggregate of 2, 6, 14-triaminotriptycene (NT), phytic acid (PA) and metal ion was fabricated (refined as NT@PA@M).Thermogravimetric analysis coupled with infrared spectrometry (TG-IR) showed that absorbance intensity of pyrolysis gaseous was remarkably decreased by the addition of NT@PA and NT@PA@M.Dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) showed that NT@PA@Cu dramatically improved the strorage modulus (E) and it could also maintain Tg and crosslinking density of EP.
