Flame Retardancy of Epoxy Resin with TPP-MMT Nanocompound

  A kind of complex flame retardant of triphenyl phosphate (TPP) with calcium-based montmorillonite (Ca-MMT) prepared was characterized by XRD, and the TPP-MMT nanocompound was applied in flame-retarding epoxy resin.The epoxy resin with the TPP-MMT nanocompound had a higher limiting oxygen index (LOI) and a lower peak heat release rate.
