Influence OF Bridge Bond on The Flame Retardatn Effect of Phosphaphenanthrene Dominating Compounds in Epoxy Resin
Due to the difference in the bridge bond of phosphaphenanthrene (DOPO) group, the hydroxyl-containing DOPO segment in TGD, non-hydroxyl DOPO segment in TAD, and the combination of above two DOPO segments in TDBA exhibited different but roughly inter-related behaviors during flame retarding epoxy thermoset.The study on hydroxyl-containing and non-hydroxyl bridge bonds linking DOPO group affords a promising high-efficiency flame retardant compound developing method.
