A Novel Phenylimide-Containing Pet Copolyester with Increased Flame Retardant Performance

  In this work, a novel phenylimide-containing monomer named as MPI was successfully synthesized and copolymerized into the PET chain.Detailed properties of the PET-co-MPI copolyesters were investigated, and great improvement in flame retardance were observed.
