Research on Synthesis, Flame Retardant and Impact Resistance of Two-component Transparent Fireproof Coatings
This research uses solid formaldehyde as raw material to synthesize melamine amino resin MUF as component A.It was separately formulated transparent fireproof coating with different components B, such as B1 waterborne epoxy phosphate WPPE45, B2 phosphate ester P400 containing PEG400, and B3 waterborne epoxy phosphate WPPEG400 containing PEG400.The effect of different ratios of A∶B on the fire performance and impact resistance of the coatings was investigated. The effect of different ratios of A:B on the fire performance and impact resistance of the coatings was investigated. It was found that the fire resistance and impact resistance of the coating are best when A∶B=1∶1.WPPE45 has the best fire performance, with a mass loss of 3.9 g and a carbonization volume of 8.8 cm3, meeting Class Ⅰ fire protection.P400 has the best impact resistance and the maximum impact is 100 cm.The overall performance of WPPEG400 is excellent.
