Comparison on Construction of Communication Context in Traditional Artistry and Culture Between Space of Hypermedia and Space of Traditional Communication --Case study in Xuan Paper in Museum of Xuan Paper of China
one of main means in science communication, museum burdened the mission to preserve traditional culture with respect to traditional technology and artistry.Except offline visit, many museums add online service to visit like offering immersive technology to visitors from anywhere to experience on-site visiting,which formed hypermedia space as it beyond limit of distance in traditional channel.Space of hypermedia provide brand new context of communication opposite to offline visit.Not only as an important part consisted of dialogue,context also played an important role in formation of content and means.Different context of communication tended to form different content and means of communication as communication is a kind of dialogue between communicator and receiver.Xuan Paper, one of Four Treasures of Study,represented ancient and traditional artistry and culture of China.As the first systematic and integrated museum on Xuan paper in China,Museum of Xuan Paper of China, opened in 2015, taken both missions on introduction of classic skill and craft on paper making, and communication and preservation of culture in Xuan Paper.The museum offered VR visiting on official account in Wechat recently instead of visiting online based on site choosing from a map in previous official webpage of Cultural Park of Xuan Paper.It provided communication channels both in online and offline.As to explore that how to build traditional artistry and culture in different context especially in space of hypermedia, the paper is planning to deconstruct and compare different context from online and offline from three viewpoints-field of discourse, keynote of discourse, and mean of discourse-through specific experience examples in two visiting channels, including analysis of common and distinctive features of two contexts from three viewpoints respectively.At last, path of culture building in Xuan Paper from two contexts will be concluded.
