Analysis on Volcanic Clastic Reservoir Formations Conductive Mechanism at the South Buir Sag of Tamsag Basin in Mongolia
It is difficult in the volcanic clastic reservoir formation at South Buir Sag of Tamsag Basin. It contains tuffaceous and analcime expect clay in the formations fillings. We need to study conductive mechanism of these fillings.By experiments data of thin section analysis, scanning electron microscopy, X diffraction and electron probe, this paper determines composition and content of clay, tuffaceous and analcime. But we find that there is poor correlation between tuffaceous content and additional conductive contribution in analysis of electrochemical and electrical experiment data.It is contradictory between electrochemical feature and electrical datas regular pattern in the core contained analcime. After the removal the influence of clays additional conductivity, it is found that both the tuffaceous and anlcime have additional conductivity. And this paper reveals their additional conductive machanism. In this paper, additional electrical conductivity is obtained by regression of electrochemical, rock electrical experimental data and conventional logging data. And the regression equation is applied to saturations parameter calculation of logging interpretation model. It is proved that the method improves the calculations accuracy of interpretation parameters. And it has certainly practical effect by application in the sealed coring well-logging interpretation.
