A Graphene-Based Yarn Strain Sensor with Low Electrical Hysteresis
Soft strain sensor has attracted more and more attention in recent years because of its outstanding advantages in human conditions detecting. However, the wide application is limited by their large hysteresis. In this paper, a new yarn strain sensor based on elastic double-covered yarn is developed.By combining dip coating with in-situ polymerization, a conductive layer of graphene oxide/polypyrrole is formed, fabricating a sensor with enhanced performance. The electrical hysteresis reaches as low as 7.01% with good sensitivity at an average of 6.61.
