Structural monitoring system for a polar class icebreaker

摘要：

　　The structural monitoring system for a Polar Class icebreaker is mainly used for monitoring ship motions during ship navigation through waves and evaluating structural strength of ships based on monitored data.By fatigue and yielding strength evaluation of ships and reverse calculation of the ice load,early structural damages can be discovered in time and the trend can be forecasted in advance,in order to take corresponding measures to ensure the safe navigation of ships.
