A study on simple design method of hybrid control system about mode control system and oil-damper

  This research presents a design method using dynamic mass damper(D.M.,Figure 1).D.M.which is a device that can obtain the inertial mass effect by converting the axial displacement into the rotational motion makes it possible to design the structure by the concept of response control that has not been realized in the past.We realize that there are few engineers who can deal with D.M.and there are few design examples.In this research,we propose a simple design method of mode control method,and confirm its effectiveness.Here,the mode control method a)operates so that all higher participation vectors of the structure become 0 by the inertial mass effect of D.M.and all higher response modes of the structure are eliminated.The partial mode control method used in this research is that from the second to a certain order modes are eliminated by the effect of D.M.
