Confirmation of vibration characteristics and prediction of safety limit condition with using observed data
This paper predicts the safety limit condition with using observed data in the shaking table test which was conducted in E-Defense,national research institute of earth science and disaster resilience in 2016.In Kumamoto Earthquake in 2016,while many wooden houses and R/C buildings having a soft first story suffered severe damages,some buildings observed inclination,and damage on the pile foundation was referred.Later,the excavation research was conducted to investigate the cause,and the severe damage was found in many piles.On the other hand,it was hardly found that the upper structure had suffered severe damage.In order to investigate the effect of pile foundation system of the damage to the upper structure,a large scale shaking table test was conducted with a 3-story R/C structure with pile foundation system of the EDefense shaking table test in February 2016.This paper also confirms the vibration characteristics of this building.
